Erin has lived in Nashville her entire life, and Matt will soon call Nashville home. They have been dating since they met in college at Florida Southern. I am so excited that they are getting married next summer, and I cannot wait to see Erin walk down the aisle. We were really worried that it was going to rain on the day of the shoot, as Matt was going back to Florida for his last semester of school, and we were a little short on time. Thankfully it turned out to be a beautiful evening! I know Erin will be so glad to have him back here in Nashville come January.
Erin and Matt wanted to really capture Nashville, so the walking bridge was the perfect location! I know Erin and Matt are excited to show off Nashville to Matt's Florida family and friends. I know they are sad to see him leave Florida, but we are all really excited to have him here in Nashville. They are really a wonderful couple and I am so happy to call them family!! Thanks Matt and Erin for letting me take your engagement pictures!
I have such a hard time blogging...though I am sure you could already tell that since I think the last time I blogged was over a year ago. I am going to try to blog more often, because honestly I think it is really good for me, because I LOVE my clients, and I really want them to feel special!
Ok now to the really exciting stuff! I am so excited to announce that not only am I going to be doing my usual fall sessions, I am also going to be doing some really cool mini sessions that are going to be super cute! The mini sessions will be stylized to look very festive for the Christmas season. I will have some VERY cute props. I am planning on doing these in one weekend, (possibly 2 if I get a good response) and I want to do them towards the end of October beginning of November so the weather is still nice. I will put more about dates and times in a week or two, but the price is set at $80 for a 30min session with 10 digital images that you can download, and have the full rights to ( so that you can use them on your christmas cards). Stay tuned for dates and times!!
Now onto pictures from my fun summer!
It is always so much fun to work with people I know! I met Kim when she was my Sunday school teacher in the 6th grade. Kim is just the nicest most genuine person you will ever meet! I was so honored when she asked me last Spring to photograph the adoption of their adorable little boy, but unfortunately I had a conflict and couldn’t do it. Kim and I were finally able to get everyone together for a family session just a few weeks ago. It was so great getting to catch up, and meet her husband and new little boy! Kim and Mike have their hands full, but I know this is what they have prayed for, for so long, and they are loving every minute of it!
here is their slideshow
2011 has been a wonderful year!! I just want to take time to thank everyone!! I have LOVED getting to know each new family, and so thankful for the returning faces! I truly have the best job on earth, and I am so blessed to work with the best families in town. I cannot wait to see what 2012 will bring.
Here are the Christmas card pictures I promised!
My New Year’s resolution is to blog more!!
I know things have been a little quiet on here, but I am in the middle of Christmas Card sessions, and I am not really sure what to do. I don’t want to spoil anyone’s Cards so I am going to post some pictures a little later in December. I am so excited to blog about them though, because I really think they are some of my best pictures! Just check back I promise to not be so quiet in the future. Anyone that knows me knows I am anything but quiet, my husband actually laughed at that. Hope you all are have a GREAT Thanksgiving. I am spending it with Benton’s family, and cannot wait to eat some yummy dressing.
